The Red Door reopens at new location

If you’ve missed sipping cocktails at the Red Door on St John Street, under the Blossoms Hotel, you’ll be glad to learn that it’s back in the form of Red Door 2.0 at a new location.

The building that used to host the Cruise nightclub, which is just across the road from the old location, has been refurbished in recent weeks for the second incarnation of the popular Chester cocktail bar. The bar has a retro-style atmosphere with classic tunes on the playlist. Its website describes it as:

“Changing the world one drink at a time…We can’t do that without good tunes. Our music is inspired by the cities we live in. From those long forgotten classics to wonderful curve balls. This is funk, this is disco, this is R&B and everything in between.”

Customers can also look forward to late-night entertainment and live music, as well as cocktail masterclasses for those interested in learning how to make the perfect cocktail. You can also sign up to become a member on the bar’s web page to gain access to some special deals, including a monthly free cocktail and £5 cocktails at select times.

The Red Door is, of course, just one of many cocktail bars and other venues in Chester, so there are options to suit every taste, making the city a great place to work and study. Bed Student Rentals offers student and young professional accommodation in Chester city centre and other popular areas, so check our listings today.
